FRIEDA is a singer-songwriter and producer from Mexico City, now based in Berlin. Her work embodies the spirit of Neo-Mexicanidad: a fresh vision of Mexican identity that honors tradition while embracing the modern. Always true to her love for Mexico and its diversity, she fuses traditional folk rhythms and instruments with alternative sounds, synthesizers, and contemporary lyricism, shaping a sound that is both rooted and forward-looking. With the release of her debut EP, Tan Corta la Vida, FRIEDA presents herself as a conceptual and complete artist.
